Though I am still able to accomplish the main goal of photographing specific things in the Capitol, what I miss by visiting on weekends are many of the people, stories, and treasures. Luckily, I was still able to find a few in the rotunda of the South Dakota State Capitol like the four unique bronze statues representing Vision, Integrity, Wisdom and Courage. There was also their State Seal which reads "Under God the People Rule", a unique plaque with the Declaration of Independence in front, as well as their Liberty Bell and some great people. Even had a chance to eat at a favorite locals place, Tom's Diner with a new friend from Pierre (pronounced like "pier"), Al Haugen.
